My Favourite Christmas Films

Now as you know I love Christmas, so it’s probably not surprising that I love Christmas films just as much. I think that it should be compulsory for everybody to have the week before Christmas off work so that they can just watch Christmas films all day. Who is with me?!

Here are the films that I would sit and binge watch whilst stuffing my face with boxes of chocolates, if that was the case..

The Muppets Christmas Carol
I have loved this film ever since I was little. My mum brought it for me one Christmas and I was still watching it on my birthday in May. I still love it now, I could watch it over and over. Oh Tiny Tim is just the sweetest too, I couldn’t forget about him!

Elf
I haven’t watched this Christmas film as much as the others, but I really like it. It’s one of those films that you could just have on and not take too seriously.

Love Actually
Christmas isn’t Christmas until I have watched Love Actually. It’s just such a nice feel good film.

Miracle on 34th Street
I remember first watching this film with my nan because it was one of her favourite Christmas films. It’s one of those films that just makes you smile the whole way through and I feel super Christmassy watching it.

Gremlins
I know that this technically isn’t a Christmas film, but it’s set at Christmas so that counts surely? I just love the Gremlins, one of the cutest films out there and I really want a Mogwai…Santa?

It’s A Wonderful Life

Such a beautiful, beautiful film. I hadn’t seen it before last year and it instantly made it into my favourite Christmas film list. The moral of the story is lovely and definitely makes you think.
I’m sure there are more Christmas films that I love, but this is all I can think of right now. What would be in you Christmas film list?
