I haven’t brought a new mascara in absolutely aaaaages. It feels like a new release hasn’t caught my eye for a little while, well that was until I discovered this little beauty. I was having a little mooch around Boots and noticed the False Lash Epic mascara glistening all on its own and snapped it up straightaway.
To look at on the outside, this mascara looks like a lot of the other Max Factor mascaras. They seem to stick to the same type of packaging. I can’t say I blame them though, it is really comfy to hold. The wand on the other hand is completely different..
The wand reminds me of a pineapple a little bit. It curves round like a lot of other mascara wands but has an extra ball of bristles at the end like leaves. This is really handy when it comes to getting every lash, it really, really doesn’t let you miss any.
After using this for a few weeks, I must admit that I absolutely love this mascara. My only fault is that it does clump up really easily. This is where the end section comes in handy, it separates the lashes really well.
This mascara is a bit of an all rounder, it adds a good amount of length and volume which can be layered up to take it from day to night. I do find this a little hard to remove at the end of the day, but the staying power is brilliant so I can understand why. It really doesn’t want to go anywhere.
I think I will definitely be repurchasing this when it runs out. Have you tried it yet?
