As you can probably guess, I still can't walk past an Urban Decay counter without falling in love with yet another shade. I was looking for a new shade to wear this time of year, as if I need another one and decided that Moshpit was the perfect addition to my collection.
Moshpit is what I would describe as an Autumnal shade. Think berries and falling leaves galore! I loved this shade when I spotted it in the Vice shade leaflet, but it is even lovelier in real life. This is my problem, I fall in love when I see them in the leaflet before I have even swatched them.
The packaging is the same as the other vice lipsticks..aka beautiful. Although they do manage to show any sign of fingerprints, so I feel as though I am always cleaning them! This isn't a bad thing though, I just like to make sure they look pretty on my side.
This shade is absolutely beautiful, it reminds me a lot of MAC Rebel, just slightly less purple. In the bullet it looks like a deep burgundy colour but it swatches a lot brighter, more like a cherry red.
You can see how much bolder this applies above. In some lights it looks a lot deeper than others, but I really love all of the different colours it appears as. As this is a cream formula, it glides on the lips like an absolute dream! On the first swipe, it is the perfect colour so there is no worry about having to layer this up.
This lipstick is exactly what I was looking for. I always find myself going for slightly darker and moodier shades as soon as the leaves start to fall and this year is no exception. Another thing that I love about this formula is that it doesn't bleed. I find some bold colours spread and I look like I have had an accident with a tub of jam. Which as you can imagine, is not a good look!
I just know I am going to be using this an awful lot throughout the next few months!
