Stargazer is a bright khaki colour, that is realllllly hard to describe. It has slight gold flecks to it, but is a really bright green shade in the pan. The colour makes me think of Tinkerbell, I think its a mixture of the green and sparkliness that makes me instantly think fairy!
I absolutely love Urban Decay’s Moondust eyeshadows. They are seriously some of the sparkliest, dreamiest, prettiest, spangliest eyeshadows I have ever seen. I can’t seem to walk past an Urban Decay counter without turning my hand into some sort of glittery glove. This time, it was the shade Stargazer that caught my eye.
Isn’t it beautiful?!?! There is something about glitter like this that makes me want to cover my face in it. I think that is my inner unicorn bursting out there, but glitter = perfection.
Once applied, Stargazer tends to become a lot less green. It applies a lot golder with a slight green tint to it. I do like it this way though, its a lot more subtle! The glitter doesn’t drop at all either, so as much as I would love a glittery face, it does actually stay on my eyes for the whole time.
I find that these shadows are so much better being applied with my finger. A lot of the glitter tends to fall out when they are applied using a brush, but they tend to keep their boldness when applied this way.
As usual I can’t fault Urban Decay, next stop is definitely the Moondust palette, I just need to get saving!
