Makeup Look: Purple Rain

make up look purple

I decided to touch up my hair over the weekend. When I say touch up, I reaaaaallllly wanted Lilac, but it just wouldn't happen, no matter how hard I tried. So I have just ended up with a brighter version of the hair I had before and 4 less hours of my life. I haven't given up on the lilac dream just yet though.

When I looked at my brighter hair in the mirror, I felt inspired to have a little play with my makeup...

For this look I used: Estée Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer // Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation // Urban Decay Brow Beater // Benefit Brow Zings // Urban Decay Spotlight + Rockstar Eyeshadow // Urban Decay 54 Stardust Eyeshadow // L'Oreal SuperLiner // Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara // MAC Peachykeen Blusher // Accessorize Bronzer // MAC Heroine Lipstick

As you can see, the holiday tan is still going strong..whoop! Normally I can watch it fade as I am flying home, but this time it seems to be sticking around for a lot longer! I really like this look, the lipstick really makes it complete! Heroine is one of my favourite lipsticks, especially now that I have purple hair it matches perfectly!
