My mum and dad have been on holiday over the past few weeks and I felt I needed to treated myself to something to try and feel a little less envious, so I decided to get myself a new lipstick. As the Spring season is upon us, I knew that I wanted to go for a lighter, more pastel shade, so eventually I settled for Pink Plaid.
I have always heard and seen such good things of Pink Plaid, so thought this would be perfect for me. I only have one photo of the lipstick unused, as I was a bit of a wally and thought I had taken all of the photos I needed before I tried it on. I am a little impatient though, so it is totally my fault there haha.
This shade is the most perfect dusky pink. It has a very vintage feel to it and makes me think of pretty roses in the garden. The colour itself is very similar to Snob but a little less vibrant, it's slightly more wearable too, as Snob can be a bit in your face sometimes.
I would say that this is one of the best matte shades that I own. It has the boldness of a matte, but is nowhere near as drying as mattes usually are. I managed to put this on without prepping my lips first and it didn't drag or anything, which is always good! This stayed for a good 6 hours on me before it eventually started to fade. Even when it started to fade, I was left with a pretty tint to my lips so it wasn't a big deal if I didn't reapply instantly.
I have a feeling that this may be one of my favourite lipsticks all throughout the sunnier months!
