As much I think today can be cute, I’m not the biggest Valentine fan in the world. I like the day, don’t get me wrong but I don’t get the pressure to spend hundreds on the ones you love. Obviously, if that is what you want to do, each to their own but I am more than happy with just a card. Lewis always says to me that he tells me he loves me everyday, so why should one day be any different. I think this is his excuse for being lazy, but actually I kind of agree with him.
I have felt pretty rubbish this last week. I think I have caught the cold that has attacked everyone at work. I’m starting to feel slightly better so I am planning on taking Lewis to see Deadpool later today. Not even for Valentines, but I don’t think he could wait much longer, he has been waiting for this film to come out ever since it was released and now he has had to wait longer because i have been ill ha. Just because it’s Valentines, I have gone for a bit of a Valentine themed makeup look aka put on a bold red lipstick.
For this look I used: Benefit Brow Zings // L’Oreal Nude Palette // L’Oreal Feline Mascara // Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation // Estée Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer // MAC Peachykeen blusher // MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick // Max Factor Colour Correcting Stick // L’oreal Contour Kohl Brown Eye Pencil
As I’m still a little poorly, I kept my makeup to a minimum. My eyes keep streaming and I don’t think Deadpool will be a film that i can get away crying at! It doesn’t matter how rubbish I am feeling though or how little makeup I am wearing, a bold red lip never fails to make me feel better…slightly. Ruby Woo is one of those lipsticks I always skip past too, I don’t know why though, it is one of the best reds I own.
Have any of you seen Deadpool yet?
Happy Valentines Day to you all, enjoy whatever you are doing! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
