Nails inc. Festive Crackers

So crackers are totally my thing, especially crackers that contain nail polishes! I'm not too sure if I have ever told you about my cracker obsession before but I absolutely love the things. Not as much now that I am a bit older (lies), but when I was little we would go through boxes of them at Christmas. My mum would instantly be replacing boxes and it seemed like every dinner was accompanied by a cracker.

You may think its a bit random for me to be posting about crackers now, but in all honestly I forgot I had them a little bit and just wanted to keep the Christmas dream alive. I spotted these festive nail crackers just before Christmas, but couldn't justify buying them at risk of not winning all of the polishes inside (I told you the obsession was real!). Santa must have put them on my list for me, as when I opened my presents on Christmas Day there they were!

All of the polishes can still be brought separately, so I thought I would show you what is inside..

A beautiful hot pink, which applies really creamy and bold.

I am looking forward to trying this, my nails are in a bit of a state so I am hoping that this will help.

Whitechapel
I love this, a perfect mix of gold glitter and chunky white pieces. Makes me think of a winter wonderland.
*cries because Christmas is over*

Winter Mews - Crushed Diamonds
This is literally the most sparkly polish that I have ever seen. It catches the light in a million different places. Magpie Emmy is totally happy.

I love a pale shade and this pastel green will be perfect for spring!

I don't wear red an awful lot, but this shade is the most perfect pillar box red. It may change my mind slightly on the red front.

The difference of shades in these crackers is actually really good and caters for everyone. Sometimes I think sets can either be one way or the other, either way too similar or completely out there, but this set is very diverse. There was a time, way back when I started this blog that I would only wear nails inc. It was actually the brand that sparked me wanting to start a blog, although since then you will be pleased to know that I have branched into other nail brands too!

These festive crackers are such a novelty and as much as I love them, they only really work if you definitely like all of the shades inside. Thats like most things that come in a set though. Lets face it, the only real downside of these crackers is that they don't contain a joke and hat!

  1. Crackers with beauty treats in them are the best thing ever! I didn't end up buying any this year as the Body Shop ones I saw included products I already had but these look amazing. Plus I think you've got some lovely shades here :)
