As usual with Crabtree and Evelyn gift sets, the packaging is beautiful. The hand creams come in the loveliest little box that has a pretty vintage style theme to it. I will definitely be keeping this to store little bits in after the creams have all been used up…you can easily see how I have become the hoarder I am!
In what has started out to now be a Christmas tradition by my mum, I opened a beautiful Crabtree & Evelyn hand therapies gift set. As my post last year went down well, I thought that I would show you what I received in the Blossoming Hands Collection this year.
Some of the scents from last year have been repeated in this set, not that I mind because they were some of my favourites anyway. With all of them, the formula is really good, i have really noticed a difference in my hands since using them and hope for this to continue.
Here is what is included this year..
Pear and Pink Magnolia
This was one of my favourites last year and I am so pleased that this has returned as I was starting to feel a bit sad that it had run out. This hand cream smells good enough to eat, the perfect mix of fruity and floral.
Avocado, Olive and Basil
This sounds like something that you would pick up in a posh restaurant to eat. Maybe a healthy salad or something? Not that I really know what that is ha! This has a very refreshing scent but isn’t as strong as some of the others, a bit of a neutral one really.
Pomegranate, Argan and Grapeseed
This hand therapy is another repeat of last year but is another good one. Very fruity, you can really smell the Pomegranate. It has a nice berry tone to it too.
This smells very flowery. I suppose that would be why it has meadow in the name, but that is exactly what it smells like. A herby, flowery meadow is the best way for me to describe it, in a nice way.
This hand cream is definitely my favourite of the bunch. It reminds me of my nan, it has a nice vintage rose smell to it. Kind of like a traditional talcum powder but with a bit more of a flowery scent to it. I love it!
Citron, Honey and Coriander
I’m going to be really obvious here, but this cream smells exactly like Lemon! It’s not overpowering lemon though, more like Limoncello. It has a nice subtle zest to it but not eyewatering lemon, I think the honey must tone it down.
I find these sets are great for people like me, who like to mix things up. I like to be able to decide which scent to use everyday depending on my mood. Which is currently post Christmas slump…I don’t think there is a scent for that so I will just stick to my favourite Summer Hill for now!
