I will start by saying I hope you all had the most magical Christmas. I’m sorry, the past few days have been a bit of a whirl, consisting of what feels like a million roast dinners and even more mince pies, finally I have found a little time to sit down and write a post.
It looks like ‘What I got for Christmas’ posts are a little controversial. Like marmite, they either seem to be loved or hated. Personally, I love them. I’m a nosey little moo and love to have a looksie what goodies everyone gets. Mainly so I can find things to swoon over and add to my own wishlist.
I really don’t want this post to come over as braggy at all and if it does I really don’t mean it. I’m just super happy with everything that I received, the family do seem to know me well ha!
So here is what I got for Christmas…
My selection was a perfect mix of beauty and geek. Anyone looking would think there was 2 sets of presents, adult and child but that is just the way I love it!
All of the beauty items will make their way onto the blog shortly, as I play with them a bit more. The Ted Baker set smells amazing and the Givenchy and Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes are my favourites anyway, so Santa did good as I was running a bit low! Crabtree and Evelyn have just opened a new shop in my local shopping centre and I now know why my mum was frantically trying to steer me away as I was walking past it.
I have wanted a dancing Groot Funko for agesss and this year I got 2. One for Christmas time, one for the rest of the year (well done Lewis, I trained you well, ha!) Dracula, I have wanted since I started to collect Funko’s and Selina Kyle is actually December’s Popinabox but my mum paid for it so kept it behind for Christmas! I also received Ariel, but forgot to pop her in a photo, whoops!
Every time I have gone into the Disney store I have been drawn to the Animators Collection Ariel. I was going to get it for my niece, but couldn’t bear the thought of her hair getting all messy and tangled (I think I’m slowly turning into my nan – she had a thing about dolls coming out of boxes)! My mum said as my face lit up every time I saw it, that I deserved it for myself so now I have my own and she might come out of the box eventually…might!
I got a few other bits and pieces too and have been an extremely lucky girl. Thank you everybody! If you have done a ‘What I got for Christmas post, please link it below so I can have a nose!
