maybelline color tattoo 24hr eyeshadow – endless purple

I absolutely love the colour purple. Although I can be a bit of a pink girl at times, purple always seems to creep its way back into my heart. You will often see me with purple nail varnish and if I can incorporate purple into my makeup or anything, I usually will especially via lipstick form! So when I saw this purple eyeshadow, I knew I had to have it! If you read this blog regularly you will know I have been on a bit of a color tattoo hype recently and today’s choice of product is no exception.

Maybelline color tattoo eyeshadow ‘endless purple’ £4.99
Endless Purple is a beautiful electric violet shade. It is slightly metallic and has a lovely sheen to it without being too 80’s. The colour is really vibrant and is really fun to play around with, if you like a splash of colour on your eye makeup. If you don’t want such an intense hit, I would say to try using it as an eyeliner too.
The formula for this I am so in love with! Although I would say that this colour really needs a lot of layering to get an even finish as it tends to show up more pigmented in some areas than others. I found that this colour was easier to apply with your finger which is something I never do, but the brush method wasn’t working for me so I used this to get a bit more of an even layer.
I really cannot fault these eyeshadows for their longevity, as again I managed to keep it on all day without having to touch it up once. Even with no primer, this didn’t crease by the time I finished work so I am thoroughly impressed!
I really can’t wait to try more colours! I do seem to have a habit of picking another one up every time I go into Boots or Superdrug, so I’m pretty sure soon I will have them all haha!

I can actually sum up what I want to say in 2 words. Me want! I do already have a couple of the colour tattoos but have played it safe in neutrals. This and the pomegranate have really caught my eye.

Do you use them on their own with a base, or as a base to layer colour over? I have found they are SO multifunctional it is unreal! And they are STILL 3 for 2 at Superdrug – yay!!

I don't know why, with this collection I have stayed away from neutrals, gone a bit mad for crazy colours!
Yes pomegranate is next on my hitlist too haha!

Here they have just been used on there own, but you are right they can pretty much be used for anything. This shade I use with a darker shade to create a bright smokey eye too!

Just made the plunge and jumped in as the 3 for 2 is on at Superdrug – got the pomegranite and the navy colour so we shall see what I can come up with as I got a Sleek palette with some lovely Autumn colours. Middle of August and I am thinking of Autumn – hope we have some more good weather before I have to get my winter coat out. Saying that, I can't wait to try out the new colours (as a primer I think!)

Lovely post Emily. I've heard so many good things about the Mabelline Color Tattoos. I think it's about time I tried them too, especially if they can go all day without creasing, even without primer!

I know what you mean about the pink / purple thing. I love pink, but purple at times is also a favourite colour. Even though my phone, MP3 player and Kindle case are all pink, my laptop is purple and I love it. I also feel that makeup wise, too much pink reminds me of Barbie!

I'm now following and looking forward to seeing more posts from you 🙂

I think they are definitely worth a try.
I was expecting them to crease lots but they really don't!
I'm glad there is another pink/purple fan!

I agree, the longevity of these things is incredible!

The purple really suits you, I don't think I could pull it off.

I love metallic pomegranate though! I did a post on it here
