Estée lauder is a brand that I spend my days lusting over. I mean everything about it screams luxury, everytime I go to my local shopping centre I always end up lusting after something, although I can never decide what I want and just walk away *sad face* until I was talked into getting this mascara!
MagnaScopic Maximum Volume Mascara is actually my mums holy grail product, she always says no matter what mascara she tries she always goes back to this one, so I decided to see what all the fuss is about! Honestly, I can’t go anywhere without her talking me into buying something..she’s the one who is supposed to be helping me save!
estée lauder magnascopic maximum volume mascara £20.50
To start with I was slightly worried about the brush and how easy it would be to apply as it is straight and i am used to a slight curve. Once I started to apply it was easier than expected, although it takes a bit longer to get an even coat with no clumps. The mascara is described as having ‘up to 300% thicker looking lashes’ and they do provide a nice amount of volume, but personally I wouldn’t say that they were that dramatic!
You can see from the pictures that it adds a really good amount of length though, which is something that I do look for in a mascara. I think the overall effect is good for a natural daytime look or if you prefer a more natural flutter! The packaging is really high class and I love the little engraved ‘EL’ on the gold band, I don’t know what it is there is something about fine detailing on items I just love!
Personally I think if it is really good length you are looking for, then it is really worth it but if it is intense volume then this probably isn’t the best option around. ♥
You can get this mascara from a variety of different places, but I brought mine from Boots.
